VideoToMP3 is built with privacy as a core design principle. All video-to-audio conversion and trimming happens entirely on your device. Your media files are never uploaded to any server and are never accessible to us or any third party.
Information We Do Not Collect
VideoToMP3 does not collect, store, transmit, or share your personal files or media. Specifically:
- No account creation or login is required.
- No names, email addresses, or contact details are collected.
- No videos or audio files you process are uploaded to any server.
- No conversion history is transmitted outside your device.
- No device identifiers are recorded or transmitted by us.
How the App Works
VideoToMP3 uses Apple's built-in AVFoundation framework to extract and convert audio from video files entirely on your device. Trimming and editing operations are also performed locally. The app operates fully offline for all conversion functionality.
Conversion history is stored in a local database on your device only and is never synced to external servers.
In-App Purchases
VideoToMP3 offers optional premium features through a subscription. Purchases are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We use two third-party SDKs to support this functionality:
- RevenueCat — manages subscription status and purchase validation. RevenueCat may collect anonymized purchase and subscription data. See their privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
- Superwall — manages paywall presentation and conversion tracking. Superwall may collect anonymized usage and event data. See their privacy policy at superwall.com/privacy.
Neither RevenueCat nor Superwall ever has access to your media files or conversion data.
Children's Privacy
VideoToMP3 does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no personal data or media files are collected by us, the app is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, provide notice through the app or the App Store listing.
